Over the past year, I’ve spoken with many technicians, service managers and property professionals about the same recurring problem:
maintenance data is scattered, inconsistent and difficult to share when it matters most.
Some companies keep records in binders, others in internal systems, some in Excel files — and many rely on information that disappears the moment a technician leaves the company. At the same time, regulations in Sweden and across the EU are moving toward higher transparency, clearer documentation and open access to service history.
This is exactly the environment ASL was built for.
Why We’re Launching a Limited Test Pilot
Before opening ASL to the broader market, I want to work closely with a small group of service companies in Sweden who see the value of a neutral, QR-based maintenance log. These early partners will help validate the platform in real-world conditions and shape the final details before full release.
The test pilot focuses on installations within:
Electrical, VVS/plumbing, Ventilation, and Lift/Hiss — the core trades where traceability and consistent documentation are most needed.
What We’re Looking For
We’re selecting a limited number of companies that meet the following criteria:
1. Active in Sweden
We are starting the rollout here because Sweden is digitally mature and ideal for controlled testing and fast feedback.
2. Certified or verified service professionals
Companies must work with certified technicians in their trade category, as ASL is built on verified access and trusted records.
3. Willing to test ASL on real installations
The pilot requires using QR tags on actual units — anything from heat pumps to lifts, fans, electrical panels or similar.
4. Ready to give practical feedback
We need honest input on workflows, form fields, trade-specific requirements, and what actually helps your technicians in the field.
5. Comfortable with a transparent, neutral system
ASL is built to store documentation independently of service provider or owner — the data stays with the installation, not the company. This neutrality is central to the vision.
What Pilot Companies Get
- Free access to the platform during the entire pilot period
- A set of QR tags for selected installations
- Early influence on features and trade-specific form logic
- Direct communication and support during implementation
- Visibility as early adopters of an upcoming EU-oriented standard
Why It Matters
Digital service logs are no longer a “nice to have”.
EU-level regulation, including Right to Repair requirements and transparency rules, is moving fast. Companies that adapt early will be significantly better prepared for the coming shift.
ASL aims to provide a simple, accessible and standardised solution — built for technicians, property owners and industry partners across Europe.
The pilot is a major step toward that goal.
