Disclaimer

ASL (“we”, “our”, “the platform”) provides a digital system for recording and viewing maintenance information through QR-tag access. While we aim to offer a reliable and transparent platform, the information made available through ASL is contributed by users and service companies. For this reason, certain limitations apply.

This Disclaimer explains what ASL is not responsible for, and what remains the sole responsibility of the user, service company, or technician.

1. User-Generated Information

Maintenance logs, uploaded files, notes, and records are created and submitted by technicians and registered service companies.

ASL does not:

  • verify the technical accuracy of uploaded information
  • guarantee that logs are complete, correct, or up to date
  • review or certify uploaded documents
  • take responsibility for incorrect, misleading, or incomplete data provided by users

Users are fully responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of all information they submit.

2. Not a Regulatory Authority

ASL is not an inspection body, regulatory authority, or certifying organisation.

We do not:

  • replace mandatory national inspections
  • issue compliance certificates
  • confirm safety, installation quality, or regulatory conformity
  • advise on legal or technical standards

The platform only documents work performed; it does not validate it.

3. No Professional or Technical Advice

The information available on ASL — including maintenance logs, uploaded documents, and summaries — should not be considered professional, legal, or technical advice.

Any decisions related to safety, compliance, or installation work must always be made in accordance with:

  • local regulations
  • national standards
  • professional guidance
  • certified experts

ASL is a documentation tool only.

4. QR Tags and Physical Components

ASL is not responsible for:

  • incorrect placement of QR tags
  • tags applied to the wrong installation
  • damaged, tampered, or removed tags
  • loss caused by misuse of the physical product

Users assume full responsibility for proper QR-tag application and maintenance.

5. Platform Availability and Technical Issues

While we strive to maintain high uptime, ASL cannot guarantee continuous availability.

We are not liable for:

  • service interruptions
  • network outages
  • data access delays
  • browser or device incompatibilities
  • loss of data caused by local hardware issues

Platform downtime does not constitute grounds for compensation.

6. Third-Party Integrations

If you integrate ASL with an external system (e.g., CMMS or facility management software):

  • integration results may vary
  • data accuracy depends on the external system
  • ASL is not responsible for mapping errors, sync issues, or third-party failures

You are responsible for ensuring that integrations comply with your internal and legal requirements.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ASL is not liable for:

  • indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • loss of business caused by user-submitted errors
  • issues arising from reliance on incomplete or incorrect logs
  • misuse of the platform by technicians, companies, or third parties

Your use of ASL is at your own risk.

8. Updates to This Disclaimer

We may update this Disclaimer as the platform evolves.
Continued use of ASL after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
