Editing or Correcting Records

This page explains how corrections to existing service records are handled.
To maintain data integrity and a verifiable audit trail, service records cannot be edited directly by users in the platform. All corrections must be requested through a controlled manual process.

Correction Procedure

If a service record contains incorrect or incomplete information, the organisation responsible for the entry may request a correction.
Corrections are processed manually by ASL to ensure that only authorised parties can modify historical data.

To request a correction, the user must:

  1. Send an email to
    correcting@aslplatform.eu
  2. Use the TAGID of the affected asset as the email subject.
  3. Provide a clear description of what needs to be corrected.
    This should include:
    • Which record the correction concerns
    • What information is inaccurate
    • What the correct information should be
    • Any supporting details needed for verification

Authorised Requesters

Correction requests must be submitted from an email address registered within the ASL platform.
Requests are accepted if they originate from:

  • The technician who created the record, or
  • Another user within the same verified company that originally created the record

Requests from unregistered or unrelated email addresses will be rejected.

Processing and Audit Trail

After receiving the request, ASL reviews the submission and applies the necessary correction.
All changes are logged to maintain a full audit trail and ensure transparent traceability of the record history.

Corrections may take time to process depending on verification requirements.
