This page explains the requirements for creating a company account in ASL and outlines the verification process that must be completed before technicians can operate on the platform.
Overview
To begin using ASL as an organisation, a company account must be created through the onboarding page available at:
This onboarding flow is the entry point for all service providers, property owners and other professional actors intending to manage assets or document maintenance activities within the system.
Verification of Company Information
All new company accounts undergo manual verification by ASL.
This verification ensures that:
- The organisation is legally registered and active.
- The company’s claimed trade categories and requested permissions are valid and recognised by relevant authorities, industry bodies or regulatory frameworks.
- The organisation is eligible to perform the types of service work it intends to document in ASL.
Verification is required to maintain trust, authenticity and traceability across the platform.
Unverified organisations cannot approve technicians, assign roles or create operational records.
Verification of Trade Categories and Authorisations
Certain types of technical installations require specific certifications, licences or legally mandated authorisations (for example electrical, HVAC, gas or lift-related work).
During the onboarding review, ASL validates that the company holds the appropriate permissions for the categories it has requested access to.
If additional documentation is required, the organisation may be contacted directly as part of the manual review.
Periodic Company Compliance Checks
ASL performs regular reviews to confirm that verified companies continue to meet the required standards.
If a company no longer holds the necessary authorisations for its approved trade categories, access may be adjusted or restricted until compliance is re-established.
Additional Details on Verification
A full description of the verification workflow, including technician-level checks and ongoing compliance requirements, is provided on the dedicated documentation page:
Users should review that page for a deeper breakdown of the approval process.
Next Steps
Once the company account has been approved:
- Organisation administrators can invite and verify technicians.
- QR tags may be activated and assigned to assets.
- Service records can be created and maintained in accordance with local regulations and ASL’s operational guidelines.
